The University of Melbourne's wireless network for students is UniWireless. This technology enables two or more computers to communicate using standard network protocols, but without network cabling.
To access UniWireless you will need your student portal username and password and a portable computing device (e.g., laptop with a wireless card/built-in, iPhone, iPad, etc).
Connecting to UniWireless
Select UniWireless on your device from the available wireless networks, input your username and password when prompted. If prompted, press "Trust" to verify the certificate. You can then access the Internet using the UniWireless network.
Alternatively, you may set up your device using the appropriate settings.
UniWireless is available everywhere on campus.
