Adobe's Creative Cloud suite is offered to all UniMelb students and features 20+ apps for photography, video, design, web, UX and social media, as well as collaboration features and 100GB of cloud storage.

Am I eligible for a Student Adobe Creative Cloud license?
Upon graduation you will no longer be eligible for the University of Melbourne's 'Student Adobe CC' license as it is for active, enrolled students only and not alumni.
Depending on the amount of time you need to access Adobe CC, please consider if this promotion is suitable for your needs as the license is provided for a fixed period and is not pro-rata.

How long does it take for the license to be activated?
Once you have purchased a license, please wait up to 2 business days for the license to be assigned to your account before contacting Student IT for assistance.

How can I download Creative Cloud on my computer/device?
Windows & Mac
- Purchase a license through the eCommerce license purchase form for $65
- Await a confirmation email from the University (usually arrives within 1-2 business days)
- Download the core Adobe Creative Cloud app
- Sign in using your student email and password, choosing 'Company/School Account' if prompted
- Download the apps you would like to use, from within the Adobe Creative Cloud app
iPadOS
Photoshop and Illustrator are available for iPad from the App Store.

How many devices can I use Creative Cloud on?
Your Adobe license allows you to install your desktop apps on one laptop or PC and mobile apps on one mobile device.

Is my Creative Cloud access limited to class-related work only?
Your Adobe license allows you to use the applications for class-related work and for personal projects.

How long will is my license valid for?
The current license validity period is 28 November 2022 - 27 November 2023.
To maintain access to Adobe Creative Cloud, you are required to renew your license towards the end of this period. You will also need to be enrolled for study at the university within the next license period to be eligible to renew. Should the University provide currently enrolled students with a new license arrangement, please refer back to this page in the future.

What happens to my access and files when I graduate or leave?
Your Creative Cloud access will end when you graduate or leave the University. You can set up an Adobe ID and migrate your files to this personal account. Refer to How to migrate your content?

What happens to my subscription and files when I take a leave of absence from study?
This offer is only available to active students who are enrolled in subjects. You will not have access to Creative Cloud if undertaking a leave of absence from studying.

Can I obtain a refund in full or in part?
The University negotiated the previous heavily discounted offer for all students. You will not be able to obtain a refund in full or in part if you have purchased an Adobe CC license from the University.

I already have a Creative Cloud subscription. Can I migrate my content or terminate that subscription?
Please contact Adobe’s Support Team, who will be in the best position to advice on your current subscription. If you purchased from Adobe, learn how to cancel your plan. Please note that cancellation fees may apply with personal subscriptions and it is up to you to adhere to Adobe's cancellation terms.
