Student Google accounts are going to be decommissioned soon. We will update this webpage with more information once a date has been finalised.
Your University of Melbourne student account will be disabled following a 12-month grace period.
Therefore, you will only have this period to be able to download your Google Data using Google Takeout before your data is revoked from University systems.
However, please note that only students who commenced their course before November 2024 will have a student Google account.
What you need to do
Start a Google Takeout
Ensure to check the account in the top-right corner is your student account before you start the Google Takeout process.

Canvas LMS Subject Content
Your University of Melbourne student account will be disabled following a 12-month grace period.
Therefore, you will need to download your Canvas LMS subject content and other relevant teaching and learning data before the end of this period when your data will be revoked from University systems.
What you need to do

Download and copy module content
Download and save PDFs and copy over course materials you would like to keep for each subject.

Download your assignment submissions
Assignment feedback may need to be copied over manually if the comments have not been incorporated into the PDF or file submission.

Download lecture recordings
You can download the Video & Audio files for most lectures recorded by EchoVideo and uploaded to Lecture Capture.
