Issues with activation
I'm having technical problems
If you are seeing a redirect loop while accessing https://portal.office.com on Safari, try using another browser, such as Firefox or Google Chrome.
If you are using a Mac and you are not able to activate Microsoft Office 365, try again using the University network. You can do this by accessing UniWireless on campus, or using the University VPN. Also ensure that your system date, time and timezone are set correctly for your current location.
If you are still having problems, contact Student IT.
Do I have an Outlook email account?
No, UniMelb student email accounts are hosted on Google's secure cloud-based Gmail platform. More information is available on our G Suite page.
Exchange/Outlook is, however, used for UniMelb staff email accounts.

- Windows (8.1, 10 and Server editions)
For a more exhaustive list of downloadable see software for students.
